Giggle

First there was PLAY and now there's GIGGLE! Spend a
most delightful day learning how to use fusible web, a
light box and your iron. We'll fuse our wiggling giggling
design to the “strippy format” background, do a little
color workshop and then embellish all with scrumptious
hand embroidery stitches. Won't you join Kristi in this
stress free class, sure to inspire a giggle?
All levels. 6 hour. Hand embroidery. Pattern fee $8.00.

Heart Pockets
Ready, set, go! This little heart pocket is the perfect place
to store your sewing treasures for stitching on the go. A
kit of “sofa fabric” and the pattern are provided, making
this class as easy as pie. Kristin will also introduce you to
yummy fabric dyes as we transform plain lace to edge an
inner pocket. We’ll giggle all the way through this
delightful class.

Quilts – Inspiration from the Journal of Life

The experiences of our everyday lives can provide wonderful inspiration for our most meaningful quilts.  Please join Kristin as she explains her journey of self-expression over the past 25 years.  A trunk show of quilts illustrates the possibilities of “designing from the journal of life” as a way for you to celebrate your very own unique adventures.
Kristin will bring her trunk show of quilts for this lecture lasting 45 minutes to an hour.

A Conversation with Our Creative Selves

This lively lecture asks the question, "Exactly How Creative Do We Have to Be?"  Issues and challenges of the creative process are illustrated with a fun trunk show of Kristin’s clothing and quilts.  A handout of sources and resources is provided, (please let me know about how many you expect to attend so I can have a copy for everyone).  Lecture can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
